Install the Chrome extension

Screen isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs the same way any developer builds it: download it and load it unpacked. Takes about a minute.

Setup steps

1. Download the zip above, then unzip it — you'll get a screen-extension folder.
2. In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions.
3. Turn on Developer mode (top right corner).
4. Click Load unpacked and select the screen-extension folder.
5. Sign in (or create an account), then go to Account to generate an API token.
6. Click the Screen icon in Chrome's toolbar, open Set up extension, and paste in the token.

You're set — click the extension icon and hit "Start Recording" on any page to capture a guide.
